Jason Budd is originally from Vermont, and has had a passion for fishing and the outdoors since he was old enough to hold a fishing rod. After moving to Jackson Hole, WY in 1999 to pursue his passion for snowboarding he took up fly fishing. It wasn’t long before he got the bug, literally! Spending the next five summers dedicated to exploring the waters in the region he learned just how special of a place he was in. It was obvious to Jason that he was meant to become a guide. Many years of working in restaurants as a chef and sommelier have taught Jason what high end customer service was all about. Combining Jason’s passion for fishing and the outdoors with his excellent customer service skills made for an easy transition onto the river providing a first class angling experience . Now he is honored and privileged to be the owner of Jackson Hole Fishing Adventures & a fly fishing professional in big, wonderful, Wyoming!
Byron VanZile
Guide
Originally from Western New York, Byron fell in love with the outdoors and fly fishing at a young age. Since college, Byron has been guiding for 7 years having started in Klamath Falls, OR and quickly moving to the Jackson / Star Valley, WY area previously guiding for Pioneer Anglers on the Salt River and JD High Country Outfitters on the Snake and Green Rivers from Western New York, Byron fell in love with the outdoors and fly fishing at a young age. Since college, Byron has been guiding for 7 years having started in Klamath Falls, OR and quickly moving to the Jackson / Star Valley, WY area previously guiding for Pioneer Anglers on the Salt River and JD High Country Outfitters on the Snake and Green.
Tim Koski
Guide
Tim has been fishing the Jackson Hole rivers for over 20 years. His passion for fishing will ensure a one of a kind experience on the River. Tim also spends as much time as he can chasing saltwater species, his favorite fishing pursuit is migratory tarpon fishing in the Florida Gulf.
Josh St. John

Josh escaped city life in the Detroit area after High School and fled West chasing snow and the outdoor lifestyle. Upon landing in Jackson he became engulfed in his pursuit for amazing experiences in the wild. Almost 20 years later Josh has carved out a lifestyle linking his passion for the backcountry and his desire to connect others with the places he finds harmony. Whether the activity is exploring snowy peaks, chasing native ungulates or fish, Josh brings his enthusiasm, past experience, and insatiable curiosity of the natural environment together to grow and thrive in this paradise we call home.
James Bartholomew
Guide
Growing up on an island in South Carolina gave James endless opportunities to explore. From the get go he had a connection to the water. His dad taught him how to fish from the time he could hold a rod and what started as ‘beginners luck’ became an innate lifelong passion. Whether it was exploring the marsh in the backyard or venturing out to the Gulf Stream with his dad for blue water action, James always appreciates the beauty nature offers. After playing football and graduating from the University of South Carolina, James moved out to Wyoming to explore new grounds and again found himself in the creek.
