HOW LONG DO WE GO OUT FOR?
Our full day trips run anywhere from 6-10 hours depending on the day and river location. ½ day trips run 3.5-6 hours.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
In the summer we recommend light clothing and river sandals for wet wading. Always bring an extra layer and try to come with hat, polarized sunglasses, and a rain jacket if you have one. (guide will provide otherwise) In the Fall you can be blessed with amazing weather or it could be windy cold and wet. So dress for the day at hand here in the Northwest!
WHAT IS A GOOD TIP?
Often people don’t know how to tip for outdoor activities. The way we see it is you should tip as if you had a great experience out at a restaurant. 15-20% is industry standard.
HOW DO WE GET TO THE RIVER?
Your guide will provide transportation to and from your place of stay. Otherwise we often meet at Albertsons parking lot to drop guest vehicle for day if you are staying outside of town.
DO I NEED TO BRING A ROD/RODS?
This is up to you, we of course provide all gear necessary to fish. But if you have your own rod bring it. Because when else are you going to use it?:)
We suggest 4,5 & 6 weight fly rods for most Western Rivers.
WHAT IS FOR LUNCH?
Options include: Fresh made deli sandwiches, Fried Chicken, or Grilled streamside lunch with your choice of BBQ chicken or Buffalo burgers.(added fee of $50 for grilled lunch)
